College

It’s official! I had applied and been accepted to be a post-baccalaureate student. I’ll be a college student again. I got my classes for the Fall semester and everything went very smoothly. I am very happy to see how this school is having good use of technology. Especially since I live 40 miles away. Since I started the whole application process, I haven’t been to back to the campus yet. Everything can be taken care of online. I could get the textbooks for my classes from the bookstore, parking permit, add/drop classes, pay bills, check status / progress… the most impressive part to me is their portal. It certainly does make everything easier. However, I do miss the human contact. I am glad that I didn’t sign up for an online program for sure (even the online program will be easier to get in, save me 1 yr, and also minus the GRE).

Stakit was very excited about my new phase. We went out for dinner to celebrate.
